Maybe the most encouraging thing about the BigBrotr scan isn't the 38 people who leaked their nsec. It's the millions of events where nobody did. For years we've been told people can't handle responsibility. They need custodians. They need platforms. They need gatekeepers. They need someone else holding the keys. Then you scan 41 million Nostr events and discover most people are doing just fine. Funny how often the experts underestimate what free people are capable of when you actually give them ownership.

We talk about self sovereignty like we believe it but most of us don’t actually think it’ll work without a patron. And major funders know that. They’re not writing checks out of generosity they’re buying a stake in the outcome. Most start with good intentions but good intentions don’t pay the bills and eventually the check writer runs out of patience. That’s when the directions start coming. And that’s usually where the project dies. Zap directly Build small Charge for your work View quoted note →

The easiest way to control someone isn’t to silence them. It’s to fund them. Because once money is tied to their output, they start protecting the money without even thinking about it.

Listen before you scroll. https://fountain.fm/episode/noZZkRxc7VbrZFHRcXdC Everybody talks about psychological warfare. Almost nobody can explain how it actually works. If someone can control your emotional state, they can influence your decisions. Today I talk about the current battlefield. It's your mind.

Agitation is profitable. Guard your peace. A calm mind makes better decisions than an outraged one. Choose carefully what gets access to your emotions. Let’s crush it today

The Lord's Day is a protest against the religion of busyness. It is a weekly declaration that God is sovereign, Christ is King, and the kingdom does not depend on our frantic activity. image

Parenting is strange. You spend years repeating the same lessons, cleaning the same messes, answering the same questions, and wondering if any of it is getting through. Then one day you hear your child say something kind, brave, or wise, and you realize they were listening the whole time. Gm

You’d be shocked how much tension disappears in a home where people feel valued instead of merely tolerated.

A zap is the digital version of a nod across the room. A tiny gesture but heavy impact.

One zap can’t buy happiness. But it can interrupt discouragement long enough for someone to keep building.
