Cuz most other apps would use fiat and that requires permissions and banking licenses for koney transmission.

Nostr is (trying to be) a decentralized protocol built on public key cryptography, not a central company or server. This allows zaps because there is no intermediary to block transactions, take fees, or control the user's identity and data.
Not only #zaps with lightning but any other shit.. crypto or type of payment if needed.
Every client that runs on nostr is a different experience for many reasons and dev choices and because of how nostr works.
Explore it as there's so many Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays to discover.. 💜

Indeed, we're all free individuals. The reason theres so much bullshit regulations and licenses for currency is because its all debt and liabilities all the way down. When money is actually as such its final settlement no matter what. Dont need to know you or care about shit about you, if I wanna send you value I can just do it as easily as possible.
