Embarrassing to see how few Bitcoiners stay current in the space. The "why would I spend my Bitcoin?" crew -- you can spend FIAT to BTC via @strike and have been able to for years. Bet these are the same people that routinely say Lightning sucks or doesn't work.

My node is almost complete. Just waiting for a complete hard drive caddy to come in off eBay. It’s a HP EliteDesk 800 Mini, 32GB RAM, and 4GB SSD. Plan on running @Start9 on it.

Can anyone recommend a Bitcoin book that doesn’t touch or focus on the typical self sovereignty angle? Almost looking for books written for a privileged, first world audience. #asknostr

Had someone ask me what Nostr was last night at our Bitcoiner Happy Hour after looking at the Nostr stuff on our free swag table. This is someone that is heavily engrained into Bitcoin X. Talkin' hours of daily usage per their own words. Maybe it's time for Bitcoiners to make another recruiting effort on the ole Twatter?

I can see how saying “Moving to Proof of Stake and letting Layer 2s steal all our value were bad decisions” wouldn’t sit as well with his folks. Real question is who fed him steak so he could have a moment of clarity?
