Fifteen years ago, I spent 4 years earning a degree in C++. A few years later, high school students were learning the same language. Everything kept evolving, new languages and frameworks emerged, and much of what I learned became less relevant. Now, people can describe an app to their phone in plain English, and AI will build it without them writing a single line of code. I’ve watched the barrier to creating software collapse in real time.

The fiat system SUCKS! My mortgage company just “accidentally” pulled my monthly payment twice. I called them, and they acknowledged the mistake. They said they canceled the second payment, but the refund would take 7-10 business days. I called my bank next. Because I have the mortgage set up to be paid by ACH, there was nothing they could do to stop the payment. Since it’s the weekend, I have to wait until Monday for everything to settle. Then I can fill out a form to dispute the payment. They said it could take up to 3 more days to resolve the issue. I didn’t even make the mistake, yet I have to spend all this extra time and energy just to get back to square one. Now I'm rethinking my entire banking setup. FIX THE MONEY, FIX THE WORLD.
