Bitcoin doesn't exist, it's just computer code When the global printed out of thin air liquidity bubble explodes 🤯 That's when they'll realise the UTXO'S are mathematically provable Tick tock

Just listened to that pod with @Constant where he tries to explain Nostr to two normies It's very hard to explain Nostr, because 99% of users want to download the app and just use it 1% want to know about relays and servers Personally I think that's the way Nostr should be advertised to normies, just let them have their npub and nsec, that is no different from username password Primal offers a plug and go with regards to relays running in the background Normies dgaf and they don't understand, so just let them browse and find their feet One mistake nostriches make when explaining the protocol, is trying to explain what a full stack developer does to Karen who uses Facebook while her washing is in It totally goes over their head 🤯 KISS I mean look at pfp and banner images in @primal you can just upload an image from your gallery and it automatically processes Don't start lecturing normies about the costs of content hosting and you should host your own server, the average joe has trouble finding their qr scanner on their phone So where the lines blur and the confusion begins, I'll give you an example: *Uploading images to Nostr* The big legacy platforms remove exif data So what's exif data? And you've lost the normie already You see? It's partly because we all talk in an echo chamber here and when you go out the bubble and speak to others, they haven't got the base knowledge Essentially it's very hard to explain Nostr and very easy to see why normies aren't using it

The suits have no idea what they're talking about....just like me and you They sit on a couch in Davos pontificating about world events and the future of humanity Bro they're just bluffing their way until a 5* dinner is served in their 5* hotel We’re all just stumbling through, trying to figure this whole life thing out But amidst that chaos, Bitcoin is undeniable math It has no opinion on wars or climate change, and it doesn't hold the answers to our existential questions Yet, it offers a liferaft to cling to in these stormy waters It provides the one thing we are lacking.... Certainty In a world of confusion, everyone can trust that Bitcoin is the pillar of truth You have a choice of how you store your time and energy

The event horizon for when the elites finally realise Bitcoin is the one: ● Phase 1: Central Banks try to suppress the price or ignore it (we are here) ● Phase 2: One major Central Bank maybe Russia, China, or a Commercial Bank breaks ranks and buys Bitcoin ● Phase 3 (The Event Horizon): The market realizes there is not enough Bitcoin for every Central Bank ● Result: The price of Bitcoin measured in fiat becomes meaningless (Vertical line) ● People stop accepting dollars entirely

In the future real estate transfers of sale will happen on Bitcoin 210 blocks will be the standard waiting period for funds to clear To reverse a transaction that is 210 blocks deep, an attacker would need to rewrite roughly 35 hours of Bitcoin's history The energy and hardware cost to do this would be astronomical, exceeding the value of the real estate being sold It renders the transaction mathematically immutable Bitcoin represents time and energy to aquire it Bitcoin represents time and energy to transfer property Bitcoin is time

Visa can handle 60K+ tps Amazon databases can handle millions We already have fast, centralized money We don't need a blockchain for that The only reason to use Bitcoin is to achieve Decentralization If a shitcoin sacrifices decentralization for speed, it has simply reinvented a slower, more expensive version of Visa

If money was just about transactions per second, Visa would have already won Bitcoin is about trust and decentralization Bitcoin was the first, and it grew organically after Satoshi left, it achieved a level of decentralization that no shitcoin, which requires a team or company to launch it, can ever replicate Bitcoin isn't MySpace it's TCP/IP

Bitchat is a stepping stone to Nostr and Nostr is a stepping stone to White Noise When the normies see it they will come

So you think you're a hellraiser in the bar? The night Oliver Reed died He had a heart attack in a bar after downing three bottles of Captain Morgan's Jamaica rum Eight bottles of German beer Numerous doubles of Famous Grouse whiskey and Hennessy cognac He beat five much younger Royal Navy sailors at arm-wrestling His final bar bill was 270 Maltese lira, about $600 He died during the filming of Gladiator It cost the company $3 million to recreate his face so he could "appear" in the scenes he still had left to shoot

A nod to @jack to frame how his seemingly effortless release of Bitchat is similar to Satoshi's whitepaper Satoshi drops Bitcoin in 08 disappears in 11 leaving the community to build, companies step up and scale it with the way they want to see it, after many disagreements we see the result of Bitcoin today Bitcoin thrived without a leader, fast forward and Jack "weekend projects" Bitchat in July last year, a Bluetooth mesh chat app for offline, uncensorable messages But wait, before Bitchat there were predecessors like FireChat (Hong Kong protests) and Bridgefy (global demos) they already used mesh messaging, similar to pre-Bitcoin projects like Adam Back's hashcash and David Chaum's ecash Dorsey didn't invent it, he proposed it with a UX that anyone could use Then, like Satoshi, Jack steps back Community takes over, devs like calle and Luxas take over and create Android versions Tor integration and worldwide messaging with Nostr relays Jack simulates the Satoshi way, build, release and walk away Let freedom tech evolve organically
