Interesting to see we are finally at this point in the playbook. Tbh, I was expecting this last year so I guess that was good in that hopefully more people realize what is going on and are prepared for what comes next. It will be very interesting to see how we make it out of this. America is going to be very different in the next decade and that good be great or fail miserably.

I posted this note a little over a year ago and it is amazing to see what has become of this idea. @PodSystems was formed in February and we spent nearly 6 months trying to sort out internal systems and workflows. Lots of experimental features and connections made along the way as we explored (and continue to explore) how to develop all this on nostr and with FOSS tools. Midsummer we launched @NoorNode to combat spam and lay the ground work for community building. We put out a demo project in August to test our production processes used feedback from that to build out a website and onboarding toolkit.
All this time we’ve been working away in the background doing weekly meetings on @HiveTalk to work on podcast development, host a virtual recording studio, and solidify friendships that go beyond any of the podcasting work. Now, it is a full year later and our first feature podcast is queued up for a release next week. We have two more podcasts in early production stages (likely spring/summer releases) and bunch of development ideas in backlog.
My vission for PodSystems was undeniably grand but I do still believe it is possible, and regardless it has been a very fulfilling experience which is ultimately what any art project must be about.
Scaling will be our greatest area of opportunity in 2026. We have plenty of open roles for anyone who would like to join our project. I’m also sharing all this because I hope it will enspire others to see the potential of nostr and try something out on their own. Yeah, you might not be successful, but how are you measuring success? We didn’t achieve our goal of twelve podcasts yet - a year in and we are finally putting something on the board. But that doesn’t account for the achievements we’ve made in building a sustainable relay community, the insane amount of skills and technical knowledge we’ve gained, or the network connections we’ve built.
“Actions are judged by intentions. If we create only to capture attention, we may find our work spiritually hollow. But if we create with sincerity, presence, and service, our efforts carry barakah—even if they never go viral.”
We put this statement in the “PodSystems manifesto” not as a way to bridge failure but to center this project on where success is truly held. I can personally say that I have felt that barakah this past year and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one in PodSystems that would say that.
So thank you to everyone in PodSystems! Let’s continue to build this into a nostr media empire!

We need to push this addoption. Personally, I refuse to donate/participate if a mosque don't accept BTC. And that has spread to many other things resulting in increasing my own addoption rate so that I rarely spend fiat any more.

Becoming leaders in language comes before leading in STEM. Control the narrative and you can align STEM to whatever path you want. Lose language skills and regardless of STEM achievement you will never achieve true breakout success.
