Consensual is the first track off The Velvicks' debut album, "Greatest Hits" | Presented by Hash Power Music and Cannabis Records
This track sets the stage for the entire album that's absolutely dripping in sex. The protagonist has an illicit lover. We all know it's wrong but they're kinky and don't care. She finds him irresistible. Hands tied asking for more, he's just doing her a favor.
The story continues in track 2 with Hit Me Like Sugar.

---some backstory---
Today's track has been long awaited by me to release. In fact, we started working on this album 2.5 years ago and only a couple songs have ever been released due to... reasons. We printed a ton of vinyl and then the frontman yoko ono'd to another country and band broke up before we could properly release... all streaming has been scrubbed except for a few low quality demo tracks they recorded long ago on spotify. This is it. physical vinyl or demu.
I've been looking forward to this next series of releases because I'm personally very connected to this album in many ways. The events that led to the creation of this album are some of the major reasons why HPM exists today. The Velvicks were our first signing, our first major album recorded in a legendary studio, and our first go at creating something that can rival what the majors put out. Hopefully we hit the mark on the audio side of things but you be the judge!
This album has a lot of IRL truths if you know the people involved. While no one fully knows a man's heart and mind but himself, the events described in this album are based on real people and situations. Those situatiins are the muse for an incredible album but also the pied piper leading to the fall of the band.
It's all very ouroboros (you know, snake eating its tail).
If only I could go back and rename the album...
