Dos everyone experience the phenomenon that you can only have a good poop at home, that it just doesn't hit right when traveling?

Yip, Hostel life is playing havoc with my poop game right now.
I wonder is it the toilet, the comfort of home, the familiar diet? A combo? Austism?

All of the above. Diet when traveling far, but I even feel this way with local poops away from home base, to some extent, so I'd say comfort.
Related gripe - hotel bathroom doors. Many times the damn thing needs better sound proofing. I hate when I'm sharing a hotel room and the other person is mere feet away and the door blocks zero sound
I've never tried it, but when traveling it's probably extra extra important to watch the sunrise, ground, and do breathing exercises to reduce the stress and everything with traveling.

With enough practice you get used to every toilet as long as are privates.

My best poops are at home and it probably has something to do with the nervous system being more relaxed at home
