me too, and i keep the subscriptions current
i also run my own one via https://relay.tools which is operated by my friend @cloud fodder not expensive to do and a great way to support a dev/business who is advancing the infrastructure of nostr, and you can configure it to require auth or, like i and others do, whitelist people who i often interact with, some of them their clients automatically try to post to it because it's on my relay list
i think there will soon be an automatic capability to allow everyone you follow to be whitelisted automatically, this is great for decentralizing the distribution of events

I’m running plebone.nostr1.com, no plans on it going anywhere. It’s not paid, but you need to be whitelisted, and I randomly ask for a donation here and there to finance keeping it up.
The Australian relay has been serving #AUStriches and #Nostriches since January 2023 -⚡️6969 for permanent access.
