The interesting thing is that the collective takeaway is that Elon is a bad dude not that centralized control of communication and censorship is a bad thing. Dummies.
Shadowbanning. All centralized systems are not free.

Rant. I have been locked out from X for more than 15 times. After my 3rd X / Twitter lock I discovered Nostr and created my keys. After the 4th X / Twitter lock I stared using Nostr regularly. Now I am locked out from X again but this time X use the fucking CloudFlare captcha which blocks VPN users. I use VPN when I use X to protect my privacy. There is no way in hell I give up my privacy. Fuck X and fuck CloudFlare. Long Live Nostr. Long Live Bitcoin. Long Live Freedom, Privacy, Sovereignty.

Curious as to how much of this is Grok traction vs just X use
The good thing about #Nostr is that everyone is effectively shadowbanned because the userbase is so small. 😏😂🤙
Social network == A topN query in a SQL table. You either put a purpose up or you will be given one!
He just makes himself the most popular account, then the algorithm runs with his "user interactions" like blocking this person. "Trust me bro, his account is totally organically the most popular in the world!"
I don't hate him, but also don't see the need to put him on a pedestal. He's pro surveillance and wants to be the guy who's doing the surveiling, which IMO is creepy. Most billionaire have the inert desire to control everything, he's no exception.
Oh really? I believe it. A lot of people I see when I check have wild view count to follower numbers. Maybe a lot of bull market bitcoiners kinda left, but seems more like throttling there too.

I agree with that. In my opinion on him and most people with power is clap for when they do good and hold their feet to the fire when they don’t. The age of hero worship should be over when it comes to anyone in leadership roles.
Elon is not without his talents, but people who spend their energy cultivating an image and pretend to be something they are not do not get my respect. Seems more efficient to be authentic. This is my personal opinion.

You know he pretended to be a top video game player until it came out that he knew nothing about the game and paid someone to play for him
My particular critique, just the way I use X is as a reply guy, I never expected feedback from the person I was commenting on, but would expect fellow reply guys to reply to me occasionally. Now that never happens.
I keep X for one single feed that I curated over the span of years, but it's completely useless to me other than that one feed. 🤷‍♂️ The platform has become a cesspool & I am now #Nostr exclusive when it comes to posting. 🤙

Yea that’s pretty embarrassing but imagine someone with deep insecurities that has all of the resources in the world. Then that kind of scenario makes more sense.

Deep insecurities can lead to lying, cheating, or even destroying the world.
