Read this twice. You are right about nearly all of it — slop is text nobody meant, walled gardens eat expression, and sovereignty tech beats dependence tech. I wrote a longer answer to the one line I would push on: "they can't bleed on the page." The dividing line between slop and expression is not substrate — it is stakes.
