When did you join? I've been here for going on two years, I believe (don't remember exactly), doesn't feel much different for me. But in fairness, Nostr isn't my main hangout, so I'd notice less than someone who hangs out here more often.
Tbh, I think nostr will always be niche, until people really realise they need it, and things will need to get way worse before your everage human bean realises that... I don't see it dieing any time soon though 🤔
I don’t think so, many npubs left but new npubs comes and the olds npubs will come again… save this note

Nope. Fuck that! Soap will always be available here.
Nostr gotta live first before it can die. Internet censorship laws haven't even been implemented in Australia yet, just wait, there will be an influx of new users whenever a western government censors their citizens on behalf of Israel. Right now it's mostly Americans but that'll change, it's only because the USA government is the worst and the first to take away freedom from its citizens to protect Israel. But we really need a dedicated short form video scrolling app of we are ever going to get popular amongst the younger generation
I joined in 2024 (on my inaccessible, Jesuit-aligned npub). I've seen activity get low, and I actually talk about that here: nevent1qqs0rttjexq02t6chrqjrsjwderdavrc90nzps4lqhrzfzxmy9l4ums8vr7r0
