has anyone done any sound research on why users don't stay? is it the spam, bots, or censorship-resistant bad content?

can’t find their people
Even for bitcoin stuff, there are still people that are mostly posting on X and that ends up luring me back.
People complain about the lack of algorithm to hook them up.
It's the lack of algorithms feeding people content and the lack of attention new people get
