“Privacy is only important if you're doing something illegal.”
“If a company gives me a free service, they can have my data.”
“I have nothing to hide.”
“You people are just paranoid.”
The problem is not privacy, but the procedural assymetry between the private and institutional use of information.
As you wish 💜🚒🇬🇧😎
"Saying that you don't care about privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say" - E. Snowden
Many aspects of the self fulfilling delusion of that statement "I have nothing to hide" also appear due to many aspects of privacy invasions (microaggressions) being tied to faceless entities. You can more easily write off a threat that isn't apparent, as if the tiger in the bushes is a fiction.
When I hear that statement, I ask for the person to unlock their phone and open their photo gallery for me. When faced with a direct threat of someone knowing their inner life, they tend to decline.
Fucking jews lol
You think she's hot?
100% “take off your clothes”
“Give me your PIN”
“Give me your mother’s maiden name, your dob and ssn”
“Tell me your darkest secret”
🤦♂️
