People chirp damus for being slow on features, probably because I spend so much time making it fast and not laggy. This will always be the priority.

People ask for features but reliability often has a bigger impact on experience.
I built damus because none of the clients I used at the time could handle my volume of posting. They all crashed πŸ˜†. Great thing about having an account with a large number of interactions is that I can optimize it in realtime.
I just logged into Bluesky for the very first time and I immediately noticed how buttery smooth it was compared to my Android Nostr apps Amethyst and Plebstr. A good user experience is paramount. This includes smoothness and no lag. Keep up the great work, I assume πŸ˜† My Damus usage is limited to you giving me your iPhone at Nostrica.
That's why I run it addition to other clients. I love the topology of nostr.
Sound foundations survive the storm(s). Weak ones bend a need. We’re exiting a period where this is πŸ’― verifiable and on full display. The platform era provided a series of endpoints for collecting the people under the most likely candidates to bend a knee. When Big Brother came calling it was game over.
Thanks! Lots of work left to do. Profile loading is still pretty janky and needs more caching.
