Why you mean lower time preference? With hard money time preference with be more given that today, assuming overall debt is lower. Since dept allows to choose how to spend time, even when I would not have the means to do so. With hard money, I would be forced to work first and request after. So there is a clearer timepreference. But maby I totally misunderstand the expression "lower time preference"
