Part of the death of a civilization is when the aristocracy (that has real moral standing) stops instructing the populace in how to live well. What you can see with @HODL in this video, and to some extent on Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays) is the birth of a civilization, and it could be argued that we are the moral aristocracy (because we love reality). If we stop loving reality, we stop being the moral aristocracy. HODL is instructing people how to live well, based on the truth and good ideas. He's using video and writing. One reason we are leading the construction of a new civilization is because we are strategists, because a defining characteristic of strategists is they project vision, and civilizations require vision. "Without a vision the people perish." Remember, if times get tough, "Vision gives pain a purpose." The danger in building a new civilization isn't the obstructions. It's the temptation to absurdity and meaninglessness. HODL is exactly right, you become what you worship (pay attention to). If you worship God, and use reality, and focus on the vision relative to your personal context, you will win, and if we do this as partners, we will win. This dissolves meaninglessness and absurdity, because the meaning and the story of what we're building is more real than the lies of dead fiat land.
