Enjoy your work, last few appearances on WBD have been great.
Except Blackrock ads on WBD soon. McCuck needs another sportsball team.
I didn't know he was a Mc (Irish) I thought he was a Mac (Scottish). Any way fuck that guy... he's more popular than me, he owns more football clubs than me, and he'll introduce way more people to bitcoin than me... What. A. Tool.

I like Peter. He’s undoubtedly building Bitcoin awareness. And he’s lately spoken more about government imperfections and even malevolence. Dropping the blue check will be another good sign… I’m pulling for Real Bedford And he does know what xPubs are
Appreciate the heck out of both Peter and Odell. WTD was probably the first podcast that I listened to about bitcoin. After some time, I moved on to RHR and Dispatch. Opened my eyes to both self custody and privacy. Matt was one of the main reasons that I got my stack off of BlockFi. Just in time too!!!
Loved the line about rich people dealing with Swiss banks and going to such great lengths to protect their wealth. Certainly they’ll be able to learn to use private keys. You are very causally articulate, sir. Great stuff as usual.
He still doesn't get it. He speaks to all these amazing knowledgeable people on his podcast and yet he still doesn't get it. Great to see you pull him up on this so newbies don't get rekt. Fuck the custodians. Self custody or gfy.
As to Black Rock, don't feed the wolf as it won't remember your kind deeds

Revisited this. Variable results. Working nicely on Damus now on Mac, and on iPhone works if opened in the right way. Thanks.

Eye opening discussion about Twitter. Glad I don’t care about blue checks.

What about people with money locked in their 401ks? You aren't allowed to hold actual bitcoin. You get wrecked by fees if you withdraw early to buy bitcoin. Wouldn't the Blackrock ETF be a reasonable alternative until at least people can buy bitcoin inside their 401k?
I made an exception for the live session he ran which was focused on Nostr. That's the only episode of his I've ever listened to in it's entirety, I think it was because he barely spoke. Is there content in there you think worthwhile? I think the BlackRock news is good for Bitcoin & my optionality. It's what I wanted to happen when Saylor came in, but I was a different person 3 years ago. I think I'd prefer that Bitcoin remained obscure for longer. That individuals rather than corporations found a purpose for it. At the end of the day, I can't stop anyone from acquiring bitcoin or buying bitcoin IOUs from BlackRock. My preferences around other people's bitcoin decisions don't matter. I'm a little excited that I might finally get to start building something worthwhile though. I'm excited by the unknown & the shift in the narrative around Bitcoin. I do expect people to get hurt though.
