Yes, exactly. I've been doing intermittent fasting since 2018, and from time to time when it's a longer fast, taking a few days long fast, I do top up with restricting my online presence. Having no human to human interaction and even not looking at the mirror throughout this time brings a lot more clarity. Usually it comes down to a massive simplicity, water, black coffee, meditation, walks in nature, exercises. Fasting on all fronts make one stronger, vital, and fresh.

The first 6 hours feel twitchy. Like your hands forgot what to do. You keep mindlessly reaching for your pocket. Then comes the noise in your head. All the open loops trying to pull you back. And then, nothing.

First 6 hours? Bruh if you are getting withdrawals from social media the moment you put the phone down you should probably be in rehab or something that's fucked up. I had a tiktok addiction for awhile, scrolling on there every night. But the idea of being so addicted you get withdrawals the moment you look away from the phone. That sounds terrible
I imagine this could be the most impactful thing someone could do in their lives. Thanks for the reminder
