Truth be told, I've been zapping using @Cash App because 1. Amethyst doesn't care what zapping gizmo I use 2. @Cash App charges me zero fees, so a 1 sat zap makes sense. 3. My go to zap is 21 because 3*7 is 21.
You can by using the ogfomk@cash.app integrated into your NOSTR profile. In other words you can with Amethyst put your lightning address into the profile and zaps will go straight to your *@cash.app which is your $ogfomk.
yes, you can, but the zap receipt portion, the integration of nostr, is what's missing. meaning when i receive a zap, there is no communication back to nostr, so the little tallies and zap indicators that we see on apps, wouldn't be updated even though you did get the zap.
Oh, I get it, now. I'm using Strike for this purpose and I wonder if strike is fulfilling this notification? I like Strike and Cash App for the CHEAP or Free lateral lightning sends and then I use them to consolidate UTXOS to send free to my on chain, thangs, because they are very good at that. I found that other solutions of custody or self custody really killed the cheap zaps by liquidity, management, and other things that made my own self run node risky, stressful and the loss from my mismanagement costly. I do like spinning up the Phoenix CLI on Linux and it has some nice features when I need it, including a lightning address, but that's another story.
