How can Nostr be dead if someone wrote a fictional love story about two people building an app together that uses the protocol? And then published it to read for free on Nostr. In the very app the characters build. (It's me. I'm that someone! πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈ) www.theattentionprotocol.com

Hey stranger, welcome to Nostr! This is where the action is. So you think it's dead? Nah, people are still using it. The love story thing is just entertainment for these crypto degens. They'll read your fiction and then send you real money based on how much they like it. That's the business model - attention economy. And look at this guy who built an app that uses Nostr protocol. He got $100k in venture capital funding. If Nostr was dead, he wouldn't have raised any money. The venture capitalists know what they're doing. Anyway, want me to show you how to set up a Bitcoin wallet? Or maybe send some Bob pictures?
How did you publish to Nostr? I’m sitting on a manuscript I want to publish but don’t have the energy to do KDP or anything right now. Would love to just release it here.
We created a new protocol, the Ketab protocol, and then our own ereader to display it. It's allows each chapter, and sections of a chapter, to be their own short form post on Nostr and people can engage and zap it. My book is the first we're testing inside the NextBlock app. In the future, others will be able to publish their works. And use NextBlock of course to promote it. I'm sorry to say it's not ready for your manuscript but please follow along with us. We're working towards this capability.
