When I was 24, entering the world of business and freelance work. I got a piece of advice from a crazy guy that has served me well my entire life:
NEVER say no to a job.
Think of the number you would be happy to do it for, and ask for it. No matter how ridiculous it sounds.
NEVER quit a job.
Think about how to change it to be the job you want. Whatever that might be.
More money. Time off. Focusing on what you like, eliminating what you don’t.
Demand those things.
He said I’d astonished how often people say yes.
He was right.

good advice
That's not advice, that's a mindset shift 99% of people are too scared to try. Respect to the madman who saw the matrix.
You’re saying I can (and will) have a ribeye delivered to my desk every day at half past noon?
Once you live by this rule, it becomes so much harder to hear people say no to jobs when you try to hire them.
Don’t get stuck thinking you do one thing.
You can do anything.

You need the skills too though.
And a willingness to be in that industry in the first place.
I'd never be anywhere making demands at my paper route from 10 years old. Lol
