GrapheneOS still broadcast WiFi and Bluetooth NAC addresses and radio footprints. Your need something with physical radio kill switches, and only Linux phones game been doing that. Leonardo cameras area also connecting license plates with individual's WiFi/Bluetooth footprints so they know who you are even when you're not with a license plate, or even if you're wearing a ski mask.

This week, I just bought a pixel phone for the second time in my life - after starting with the 6a, this time I got a good offer for a 10a, so that's what I went with. My family was somewhat puzzled by the fact that I would go through the hazzle of installing everything by myself and not just relying on #Google or #Apple to sync my old phone to the new one, but to me it's worth it! Can you clarify what you mean exactly? Are you referring to "location services" that uses Bluetooth / WiFi scanning for better GPS? View quoted note →

Bluetooth and WiFi constantly broadcast their MAC addresses so they may be discovered by other devices. These tyrannical surveillance cameras discover the MAC addresses and links the footprint to a license plate, and hence a person. Then they can track you whether you're in your car, someone elses's car, or no car at all. Leonardo's camera brochure brags about this ability. You can install the DeFlock app and start reporting the surveillance cameras, and maybe the Blade Runners will do their thing.

Again, how is that possible on an OS like GrapheneOS? I can disable GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi? I can also disable additional Location services so no Bluetooth or WiFi scanning is happening. This shouldn't be possible under these circumstances. Additionally, there is WiFi MAC address randomization. So even if these features are enabled they "only" become relevant when the same location is frequently visited and they can identify users based on their unique routes.
