The key difference is one donated heavily to the political ruling class while stealing from plebs, whereas the other created a website letting plebs freely trade with one another.

I never said he was charged for it. He facilitated and built a platform that had it. He was responsible for building one of the biggest black markets In history. I don’t agree with his sentencing but this original meme is hardly honest.

This isn't even what was claimed in court (and not charged). What happened was that a two cops posed as a blackmailer and a hitman, and put pressure on him to accept the offer from the hitman to take out the blackmailer, which he allegedly accepted (which again was not officially charged or found guilty).
If he had actually murdered someone he might have a lighter sentence. They made an example of him.
