This is the node that routed all the payments to the trucker protest in 2022. It's decommissioned now, but such a cool piece of Bitcoin history to have on my shelf. Maybe one day I'll put it up for auction (though I don't know if I'll ever want to let it go). image

Haha I really wonder how much it cost the Canadian government (in fact the taxpayer) to try to stop that box.
Maybe get your signature and Caribou's on it if you do auction it.

What’s the story behind it? Would love to learn more 🙏🏼🟠
Bro, do a youtube video on this! What a great piece of history to show the world how #bitcoin saved people in the midst of tyranny. This would be such an amazing way to orange pill people.
Trudeau would probably call it the Enigma machine. Encryption v3.

So it was the receiving lightning node for all LN payments, but also served as the copy of bitcoin core that was referenced by a local copy of Sparrow Wallet before being sent into the multisig wallet.

This could be placed in a bitcoin museum one day. Awesome.
Just FYI, I shared this on my other social media sites 2 days ago, and 3 people have already inquired and downloaded their first wallet. One of them was a gold bug. None of them knew that bitcoin had anything to do with the Canadian Trucker situation. This is going into my pitch when I orange pill people. View quoted note →
Yes there was. 30% sits in a legal escrow. That said, it was the only digital donation method that actually made it to the intended recipients, despite the mistakes I made along the way. I outlined where I messed up and how others can do better in this interview.
