Podcasts should post directly to nostr. Why not? We have a border-less protocol. Use it.

Yeah and all the followers see them and not just a small portion of some podcast app
I've reached out to Curt Jaimungal from Theories of Everything to join nostr. Mentioned that there are a few interested in engaging with his ideas, dropped the link to snort and my npub. He also communicates directly with audience through his news letter and appreciates any tips/feedback. https://www.curtjaimungal.org/contact
"But on centralised sites I don't have to pay for the storage" are one of the things I've been hearing. So why I on earth should I zap your content if you don't invest some of it back into the v4v eco-system?
Would love to, but there’s a few big barriers, imo: • the timeline UI isn’t good for long form content. • chronological nature of social makes older content hard/impossible to find. Need explicit Nostr based podcast app/client, imo. Or at least a client that has a way to manage and navigate media separate from the timeline view. • Lack of analytics. None in many cases, and very poor in others. For those podcasting as a source of income, this is often a deal breaker. If you find a sponsor with high integrity, a good product, and who doesn’t care about analytics, I’ll give you 20% of the sponsorship 😆 All of these problems are *very* solvable. Someone just needs to build with these in mind.
