yeah, we gotta stop these people. and i think that part of that is not bip-110, bip-110 is just a weak band-aid to contain the spam for a year. what we want is: - a proper schnorr signature with hash shield UTXO, that i have called #P2SPKH (pay to schnorr public key hash) so we can get the thing that segwit should have been. - implementation of bulletproofs on bitcoin for proper private transactions. this will also be a substantial win for miners because bulletproofs are about 1kb in size. not massive like inscriptions, but also not small, and a middle finger to the "monero is better than bitcoin because ring signatures" that would end that whole debate and both of these things can ironically be added to bitcoin via segwit witness programs, and that's something i really want to emphasise - BIP-110 would put a wall of bureaucracy around doing that. i have already built the p2spkh witness program, and the witness data size is small, just 64 byte signature and pubkey, and the address hash is a new variant of the bech32m checked address type based on a double SHA256 hash. i don't have the ability to run a node currently - in transit, migrating to kyrgyzstan, but if i had the funding i could set up a node on a VPS. storage VPS with 2tb of storage is not massively expensive but beyond what i can afford right now on nearly zero income. i can build anything nostr and bitcoin related, also, even shitcoin things, if you want, and will pay me. just upgraded webwarden and published it on zapstore:
