Problems with new paradigms don't make new things bad. Sure problems need solving. But that's no excuse to rely on the lifeblood of a living being who gracefully provides you a place to live.

45 minute wait. Depending on your starting percentage, percentage, and overall utilization of the charging station, it can take up to an hour to charge. New York City is a special place where nothing makes sense. But if youβre on a long drive
outside of the city, itβs quick - no wait and charge for ~20 minutes to get 2-3 hours of drive to the next charging station.
I'm not sure even 1% of the battery would be used waiting for 2 hours.
