The downside, of course, is the following: no handholding, no safety net, no account recovery, no big brother to take care of you and nerf the content you're going to see. Personal responsibility. That's what #nostr requires of you.

There may be straightforward solution to this, pioneered on blockchain-based blogging sites like Steemit, Hive, and Whaleshares; namely, versioning. Maybe I need to learn how to write NIPs, but if someone who already knows how, please take and run with this. The basic idea ๐Ÿ’ก is to have clients provide an "edit" capability to allow users to revise older notes. The revised version would then be published containing references to the earlier version(s). When a note is referenced, relays could deliver the latest version (or any specific earlier version(s) if you cared to check the history.) Any devs out there care to discuss what it would take to implement this?๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ˜†โ“

Could this also work for note translation? In order to create multi-language content.
