I want to buy a new thin client to upgrade my #Bitcoin node because the 1TB disk space is running out. I'd pay twice of what I paid 2 years ago for the same machine. Fuck this. This isn't how tech progress should work. I hate AI for many reasons, but this takes the cake. And is any media complaining? Like they did with Bitcoin about energy usage and graphics cards prices? No. Nothing. AI is, at this point, hostile tech to humanity. But people suck it up because it makes fake cat memes and lobster Jesuses. I think NVidia, MS and all these fucks are moving to "computing as a service" They will make hardware so expensive that we can only rent it if we aren't the 1%. Fuck this timeline, fuck it dearly. #rant #ai #bitcoin #ram #caas

When it comes to #Bitcoin, U can also thank the spammers for lobbying for large op_returns & data inscriptions thanks to the "unplanned" exploit of taproot. Sync'ing and running a #node is getting real expensive. Not long before we're completely priced out. I am not ok with it. It was supposed to be an inexpensive endeavor so it could remain as decentralized as possible. A true censorless quality is achieved by decentralization, not by ramming loads of data which ain't even money thru #noderunners who are having to figure out how to keep their nodes alive & data storage available for a chain that's being co-opted by three letter GVT agencies posing as #wizards or pretend #FreeMarket proponents. Fees don't curtail bloat when those paying the fees are direct beneficiaries of the Cantillion effect & are in bed with the money printers. That's just reality. There is no free market when the market is rigged. Therefore the sense of immediate urgency to co-opt & pervert Bitcoin into just a cool techy version of #Fiat. Support #BIP-110 Narratives mean nothing. Just look at how things are working out FOR WHO... If you're going to hate me over this I will feel sad for you while I continue to grasp what I can with the preface of what matters when it comes to the meaning of freedom MONEY. -"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

What I mean is, can other less spec units be clustered together to be more powerful and more flexible than a single bigger unit?

Yes, heard ram going through the roof and manufactures now producing DDR4 and not DDR5!
