I think if one is to use the Fediverse, one should favor a free speech platform, since their account would be tied to the whims of the admin.
An example is Minds, which actually used to support Nostr, but then moved to ActivityPub.
My take is it's actually smart to use more than one platform at once. Using Nostr doesn't preclude other options.
