π Day 3: Day 3: Relays Explained
π Merry Nostring π
π Learn:
Relays are lightweight servers that store and forward Nostr events. They don't own your data or control your account. You can use multiple relays for redundancy, and switch between them freely. Unlike traditional platforms, relays are interchangeable infrastructure, not gatekeepers. Your data remains yours regardless of which relay you use.

Good morning ππ
Fyi, for me its 'day 2', and you have been consistently spoiling the calender since the start

Whoops π
Itβs promotion for the breakfast crowd. Iβll stop sharing an let you have your fun lol
Well, im just wondering why for me the thing claims dec2 is day 2, whilst it indeed should be day 3π§
On a different note: relays are gatekeepers, the point is that you are flexible among the gatekeepers you use, including your own.
You are correct in the technical sense, but this project is not meant to be a deep protocol lesson. It is an entry point. I built it so a grandma could learn Nostr without getting lost in the weeds. I am leaning toward a persuasive truth that points people in the right direction. First we inspire curiosity, then we can explain the details. A lot of the content is simplified or adapted on purpose so the first step feels inviting, not overwhelming.
Must be based on time zone. I should have put to utc
I understand, i feel you...but.
Its not a deep protocol phenomena, and that is generally where my frustration lies irt the subject. It should be a surface level insight. Now i don't blame you, because i have not found the 'words' for it either to convey it in a simple 1 to 3 sentences.
We will see, hopefully next year we have those words so it can be incorperated in the 2026 advent calander ;).
