Have you ever driven through Alabama? It's hard to be more forested than that.

Can confirm. NC is basically a huge fucking forest with a few cities and towns connected by ribbons of asphalt
I didn't realize how much forest Alabama had until I went there a few years back. I thought it was all swamp land, but you drive down the freeway, and one side will be swamp, and the other will be thick pine trees. It's not what I expected at all, but that's what it is.
So that means the other half is probably 95% forest 😂
