reminds me of the “bitcoin” vs “bitcoins.” no one got sorely disappointed. people are proposing that we make onboarding easier so that bitcoin is used more so that bitcoin is more resilient… and if you want to keep calling them sats and choose a wallet that does that then you can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The word Satoshi will become more popular than Bitcoin. Clearly they want to avoid that, but I think that's even a good thing. The word Bitcoin will be a symbol of something big and powerful, and Satoshi will be the unit we use for payment.
