Thoreau is that guy who didn't pay his taxes and then his sister paid them for him?
Quit twitter in February this year after they cut 3rd party api support – and facebook in 2014. Have not regret it for a second ✊
X isn’t a place, it’s a application that you input your data to be monetized by private equity owners and corporations and in return, you get a dopamine Skinner box that makes you think you’re part of something when you’re not. Congratulations, you’re a human lab mouse.
No. I’m not. X is the most important platform for speech in the world. Nostr maybe will be but it won’t be for years. And by the way; Staying humble and stacking sats won’t cut it.
No. It is a platform for a war of words. That involves propaganda of course. But nowadays it’s not only one type of propaganda, like it was during @jack s reign; wokeism. Now it is actually allowed to say things like #ClimateScam and #AmanCanNotBeAWoman etc. That was impossible before. And it means EVERYTHING. Nost, Bitcoin, Staying Humble and Stacking Sats don’t suffice in the real world, in a war of ideas.
With what? I’ve stacked bitcoin for years. And being Humble is not my thing.🤡

True. No reason to delay. Jump off today!
Why would Xiting be civil disobedience? I don't get it. Not giving out your passwords to authorities when asked is civil disobedience. Blocking a street for a cause is civil disobedience. The decision to not use X is on the same level as choosing not to walk backwards on the street. That's not civil disobedience.
As to why so many people have chosen to walk backwards on the street, I couldn't tell you.
