Fun feature I found: you can connect your @strike account to your Venmo account which allows you to pay people in dollars using Venmo with your bitcoin on Strike, with zero fees on the Venmo side (credit card is a 3% fee from Venmo). It just debits your account either from your cash or from your Bitcoin in Strike! Can't believe I only just now figured this out. @jack mallers , consider mentioning this (maybe obvious) ability in a JMS episode? I am sure other people that still have to use Venmo for FB marketplace, paying babysitters, splitting tabs, etc. will appreciate knowing this is possible to do and to stay on that Bitcoin standard grind. image

Is Venmo the only way to do that? We don't have that in Europe
Well fuck. I've been transfering money through my credit Union between venmo and strike this whole time.
I don’t think I could figure it out in Plaid, so I just entered the routing number and account number manually and that did it 👍
When using bitcoin to pay people in dollars, there is essentially a sale of bitcoin which would trigger a taxable event, correct?
