How might SimpleX integrate with nostr, and vice versa? @SimpleX Chat founder Evgeny expressed interest in conversation with the nostriches. Some avenues that could be explored: 1) Explore SimpleX to improve nostr DMs privacy 2) Add nostr identity (i.e. npub) layer in SimpleX 3) LN and Zaps in SimpleX #asknostr #devstr #foss cc @Change this if you want @elidy @PABLOF7z

How about the very basic ability to add a SimpleX address in a Nostr Profile? Most clients just have nostr profile data artificially limited to only a few fields like “bio”, “website”, etc.

If you’d like to know more about @SimpleX Chat, the Opt Out podcast has a well rounded episode. Evgeny+team have a 360 degree view of private communication, paying careful attention to what matters most on privacy and private communication. I’d be interested in knowing how he sees #nostr, and on how the #nostr community can build a bridge to the SimpleX protocol.

I deployed a smp server on my VPS the other day and it just works, I don't know what's wrong 😂 I'm not used to simple installations and setups anymore
