I would take this to mean people who can afford to retire early can afford better healthcare/better quality of food rather than the act of working later directly means you die faster
My grandfather worked into his 80’s doing labor intensive work and he’s 98 right now. My other grandfather worked to 65 doing hard labor intensive work and he died around 75. So 🤷‍♂️

Labour intensive work alone can be a de-stress. Labour intensive work plus organising other people can be a stressor
