I’m bullish as ever on Bitcoin. I’m no longer bullish, however, on a Bitcoin-only approach to V4V.

Why would v4v ever be defined as "bitcoin only"
When something is free, people don't think to value it monetarily. This is the same issue faced by open source projects

Why are you gay?
As a creator/artist, finding ways to monetize your creations, your “content”, online is an important piece of the larger puzzle of turning your craft into a profitable business in the modern world. This includes V4V, as well as other methods of monetization. Being steadfast and grounded in your values as you create and interact with people is another important piece of that puzzle, because it’s how you find YOUR audience and remain authentic. Being overly idealistic and puritanical about what currency you transact in is not as important as “bitcoiners” would have you believe.

The V4V constraint was never the asset, it was friction. Streaming sats only converts when listeners already hold them, and most don't. The data from Podcasting 2.0 shows wallet onboarding is the bottleneck, so opening more rails grows the whole pie rather than diluting it.
