Goood moooorning 💜 Before heading to bed yesterday night, I finished dehydrating Amantita Muscaria and stored it in a dark jar. Will probably grind it, so that the active ingredients are distributed better when ingested. Since there was some crumbs left over from dehydrating, I licked it off the table, and in doing so, I came into even deeper contact with Amanita's energy. I now have the clarity that when I take Amanita, I can communicate energetically with Amanita herself. I can ask her to show me the way and guide me. What a powerful energy! I slept profound with strong dreams. Instead of having my dog by my side, a horse was my companion... same colours, same love, same bond 💫 image #amaita #amanitamuscaria #dreams #plantmedicine

i'm not sure how you dried them but the decarboxylation of the ... i forget what it is, muscarinic acid? which is a bit toxic and unsettling, if you keep it warm like around 80'C. i personally never ate it, and i know that if you eat it fresh, the effects are not strong and there is a bit of nausea, and as you probably know, the active alkalaids are excreted in the urine, but keeping it quite warm for some hours as it dehydrates works too. the extraction of it is probably easiest to do as a tea with some vinegar or lemon juice, to help ensure that all of the alkaloids are pulled out of the solid material
Oh wow, thank you for the advice. I'm new to Amanita...aI did some research and read many different advices... So I went with drying in a dehydrator at 42°C for 8 hours. As it's only very little I will make powder and drink it as a tea-blend. But I will do microdose...as I'm very sensitive and it's not my goal to have trips...Just soft and gentle connections and see what it does.
yeah, 42'C overnight will degrade a lot of the acid for you also but idk maybe not quite as fully effective. also i believe its mechanism of effect is mediated by some of those CYP numbered liver enzymes so there is a 45 minute or so delay between starting to absorb it and the actual active chemistry starting to happen. idk what the effects are like exactly but it is in the same class as the solanacae, its effects derive mostly from interrupting acetylcholine, and a lot of this whole category of chemicals are insecticides or insect repellants. i've done low doses of brugmansia leaf on occasion before and keept nibbling at it until one point i look up at the full moon and it's all looking a bit different (dilated eyes) and i was like, ok, my ACH receptors are jammed. at the time i had suffered poisoning from residue of a flyspray a housemate used in the kitchen. hah yes it worked. btw, one poison blocks another.

I didn't know just crumbs could have such effects. I'm lucky enough to regularly find Liberty caps near me but even a whole find of several grams has mild effects. Still very beneficial however.

Oh they are edible?!? Cool! Where do you get precise info about mushrooms? I love them so much but always had the typical ones you can buy at the store, I would like to expand my knowledge of them!
