Good Morning Nostriches! (Trying to get back in the habit of being with my peeps early in the day)
This passage jumped out at me as I was reading the Bible this morning.
“For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person — though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!”

Specifically the phrase “Christ died for the ungodly”…
There is so much hate in this world and one side blaming the other side.
Even here on my beloved NOSTR I frequently see notes dogging those still on X or not yet as deep into Bitcoin as another.
To think…Christ died for all those ungodlies 😉😇
But seriously; murderers, thiefs, tyrants, democrats AND republicans 🤣, homosexuals and heterosexuals, Jews and Gentiles…
Christ died for us ALL so that we wouldn’t have to.
God sent His only son to die not for “good” people, but for sinners becasue that’s what we all are. We have all fallen short of the glory of God.

Makes me consider the amount I pray for believers vs the ungodly I know (or at large).
I can do better at praying for the ungodly that they may come to know Christ, becasue that’s why He came, so that all may know the love of the Heavenly Father, God.
P.S. most of us have family or friends that need Jesus, so we don’t have to look that far to begin prayer for the ungodly.
