Damn. No doubt those charges are wildly trumped up but it was inevitable the gov't was going to go after them at some point. I imagine they have a hefty amount saved up for legal fees ready for something like this, they must know that they would be targeted.
If they laundered money, this is a recognition from the government that Bitcoin IS Money.

Bitcoin community needs to start building out the legal infrastructure to fight all these cases that are going to come down after the government starts going after all these self custody wallets.
We anticipate that any form of mixing transactions to hide the parties conducting that transaction from government surveillance is being targeted. Privacy is illegal, apparently.
