Here, everyone thinks that Bitcoin cannot be changed, consensus and all that crap. But you've already seen that Bitcoin can be changed, whether it's because of a bug like the Sewgit witness and that bug wasn't fixed, or changes made by a dominant implementation like Bitcoin Core in op_return. Gold cannot be transmuted, it's physics, but Bitcoin is a p2p network and it's software, and software can be changed, and there are social tactics to deceive people so that there is no real consensus, as is currently the case with an implementation that accounts for 78% of the network. You have to defend Bitcoin, and you have to get this into your head: Bitcoin doesn't defend itself just because some people say so.

Gold does not defend itself either. It's been stollen 1000's of times throughout history. The question is: what's your best bet on the future? ;-) But I 100% agree Bitcoin has to be defended. Run a node. Cold storage only!

100% allocated for years now…no going back. I’ve burnt the boats and am staying to fight as a multi node runner. The only clear way to attack a decentralized network is to attack it at its core. Its clear there has been a coordinated effort to dismantle ₿ at the protocol level. My nodes wont comply.
Bitcoin is also getting captured by podcast/advertising. Influencers get paid to run ads and preach false narratives/ create dogma around accumulation strategies for profit. Hodl culture is toxic degeneracy designed to sell cold wallets and useless crap
