Anyone had any luck with any of the btc miner space heaters? I have a room in a barn that needs a space heater and I'd rather be generating some hash than just sucking up electricity with no sats. Would be willing to build a space heater out of a miner if there's good instructions somewhere but would rather just buy something.

I bought this a couple years ago. Pretty happy with it. But be aware of the room size as fit pertains to actually heating the room. It’s also fairly loud.

The plan for a DIY sound insulated black box that’ll house an S19, available on Upstream Data’s website, is cool. That would kick out some heat.

Do you care about noise?
Nope. Its a relatively small room. Maybe 20x12. I was looking at the bitchimney and Avalon min 3. Was wondering if anyone had bought one
Bookmarked.
A miner is a space heater. I run one in my garage during the winter. No mods required.
If you care about the very loud noise 240V miners can make, housings/ cabinets and firmware are required
Understood. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something on the market or there wasn't a resource I didn't know about.
Last gen ASICs work pretty well if you have 240v hookup. Slap an AC Infinity inline fan on that piece and they even sell fan silencers too.
I have 3 8 inch AC Infinity inline fan silencers if you want them!
I haven't bought either of those, but I was looking into the bitchimney recently and I like the smaller Avalon miner that I have.
I'd probably look at an Avalon Q if I were in your situation.
