QUESTION: is there any interest in a "dad pod" podcast about dad life, parenting in general (moms also welcome), homeschooling, knowledge sharing, brainstorming, generally shooting the shit about what's working well and what's been a struggle, etc.?
this was an idea @npub1z85h...y9dq and i tossed around a while back and i havent been able to stop thinking about it...
my idea would be a monthly group session hangout which we stream live, take topics from the audience in the live chat, etc. (i'd publish to rss feed as well of course). also doesnt have to exclusively feature homeschool families -- a lot of bitcoiners also opt for private school and that's great as well, to each their own. i think hearing opinions/experiences from all sides is great and beneficial for dads (and moms) during all stages of parenthood.
i would also use this as an opportunity to collect and organize educational resources/tools/etc, i.e. create a repository of all the info/resources we discuss on the show
as an added bonus, this is a great way to "show dont tell" wrt bitcoin. i.e. a bunch of bitcoin dads (moms welcome too!) hanging out and shooting the shit about parenting, talking about bitcoin life without talking about bitcoin explicitly.
if this is something you'd like to see exist, please let me know.

no not really because men are busy working and making money then sitting around listening to dad podcasts
Yes
Can you add a segment about how you and @CARLA⚡️ prepared for birth
Given that I'm the proud father of my own very wonderful 23 yo daughter and 23 years is quite a lot of time to be parenting this could be interesting.
Sounds great
Maybe when the kids are older :)
Well, he didn’t do anything and I almost died and needed a c section, so not the most romantic story haha.
My mom has her first baby on the way. My dad and I don’t know what the fuck is going on. lol
💯 I would love to see that!
Wait
There are plenty of single dads that would probably benefit from something like this…
Yes.
Here here! Love it Walker, a very prescient idea.
Don’t wait to learn about shared preferences and non coercive parenting. You can practice on your husband (and vice versa :)
💯
I think it is a good idea. When I was a young father, I remember not much content being available for the dudes. I’m sure this would be good conversation and useful to many. I’m still learning.
Yes - I would subscribe to that. I love the idea but I don’t know where to start. An ongoing list of resources and community insight would be great.
For sure
Peaked
Absolutely man - this would be awesome. Definitely make room in my 40hrs a week of pods…😎
Would listen to that for sure. I’ve listened to a few different dad podcasts and they were all very fiat.
The family court system is fiat and most dads are screwed!!!
Yes to this.
Nah mate.
I’m in.
That’s a yes from me.
Sounds fun. I'd be down.

Is anyone familiar with the homeschool legal team protection you pay monthly into? They write letters to public school districts to stop harassment towards homeschoolers. The lawyers also show up if the harassment doesnt stop. Please forward the contact info to me. TIA
I believe it's piqued
YES I WOULD LOVE THIS
A "dad pod" could fill a real niche—parenting discussions often skew aspirational or overly structured, when most of us just need practical, messy insights. Reminds me of how Bitcoin ETF flows reflect real-world behavior vs. hype; that piece on 2026 price dynamics argues organic adoption > forced narratives.
