I'd say it's a good thing because of adoption. but can't shake off that feeling that that anti-government stance is just a facade. fake. they'd cheer government if they allow! them to use bitcoin or be bribed with freeing Ross or whatever bone they throw to them. many will betray all principles for fiat gains.

Might be worth checking out Murray Rothbard's Nations by Consent. ICE is an overreach, but addressing an overreach in the first place by a state-enforced open border which many would say is an abuse of property rights. Particularly given the other abuses imposed by the welfare state. I notice people tend to take more of an issue with ICE at home than they do with the steps Bukele had to take in order to clean things up after the gangs of El Salvador had grown past a point where normal policing and courts could be relied on due to the systemic corruption. I'm not gonna go cheerleading ICE -- they clearly aren't adequately trained and it shows. But it does help to recognize that when one extreme is flung into by an abusing element, it can't be surprising that another, to correct it, will be shortly behind.

Most still are IMHO although we also need people willing to work with government to change what we dislike unfortunately that’s how the game is played
