We all know the algo game. Some of us are fortunate enough to be in a position where we don't need to play it, but it'll take some time to make a full transition. Do you mention that people can find you on nostr at the end of your videos? That might be helpful for the network.
Yes but you're trying to do better and you've been more active here recently. I think maybe you should consider looking at your best content on YT, download said content and upload it to blossom for native nostr consumption. The sats will follow and then you can take it from there.
You’re not the only one 😂 On the one hand I think most people here get why. There’s no question that nostr isn’t as easy as YouTube is for video, and certainly there’s more opportunity there for monetization. But on the other hand you’re very active here and people see that and probably appreciate it more than you think, and posting content natively tends to work better no matter the platform (I’ll probably get lambasted for calling Nostr a platform, but in this context it is). You have to post content that works well within the platform’s constraints. Using Primal or nostr.built makes it a bit easier to host and publish video content now than it used to be. Maybe a full length video isn’t the best format for uploading directly to nostr, but it might work to publish some short clips/highlights of your longer videos here.
Youtube is non functional most of the time ("sign in to prove you're not a bot") If you have the mp4, load to blossom, or get a nostr.build subscription That way your content is actually available to your audience 😎
