Surprised? 🙃
Yeah, I really hope things done rapidly get worse. It’s a messy world right now
Its like ive said, there have to be pain for a human to decide to change. That pain threshold is different for everyone. This is a main motivator why I went down the bitcoin rabbit hole awhile back, but the responsibility is on the individual.
This isn't money and it's not yours
not at all, but its still just insane. I've dealt with it personally and the banker gets quite a fun conversation about Bitcoin whenever it comes up.
Someone tell her they don’t actually have the money, so when people want to make large withdrawals they have to buy themselves time to come up with the cash
why doesn't she leave north korea?
Australia?
Yeah, CBA is Australia’s largest bank
"Are you suggesting that we are weak because her higher pain threshold enabled her to withstand financial repression longer, while we scurried to Bitcoin much earlier?"
Not sure i am fully understanding your *assumption*
Just highlighting Change usually comes after pain based on human behavior.
Just repartee and self-deprecating humor playing-off your comment:
“That pain threshold is different for everyone.”
Implying that she is stronger because her pain threshold for fiat is higher than ours.
The banks are on the way to a cashless, controlled society, erosion of our freedom.
Be your own bank. Solved
Oh it gets worse: even if she had provided the requested information and was given her cash, in many countries the bank would then have filed a large transaction report that goes off to the government.
Sure. Safe and effective, of course 🤣 I know, I do "trust the science"
.... 🤡 Nope.
Oh, that's interesting, a good topic for a comedy movie, I guess 😁: "a fun conversation about bitcoin with a banker" (or actually just a person working in a bank, in the matter of fact mooooore than less of them have no idea how the system works, what money is etc. I've been in there for a while...). Yup, I know the kind of situation shown in that video happens, and while I don't wish harm on anyone, I'm in a way, "glad" it's being experienced more and more in the Western hemisphere. Maybe it will wake some people up and make them realize two things: a) The money in the bank is not really theirs, and b) It's time to start paying more attention to Bitcoin. Well, unfortunately, in this part of the world, mostly because of the "convenience", Bitcoin is still often seen as a useless tool - something unnecessary since their are doing well with their loans, credit cards, stable jobs, future pensios (***that to their suprise will never come), or just a get-rich-quick scheme
It so cute to see normies wake up gradually.
