Indeed. It's such a piece of shit sometimes. Lately Damus has sucked a fat D too. Getting close to writing a harsh note to those guys. Shit crashes multiple times daily. Says it has a fave feed, though it's not there. I fear they've moved on and are neglecting it

That too! For me, the crashes is my main gripe. Last vip version had a memory leak that had it using up over 100gb, then I stopped and used others. Came back other day when I heard they had a new compact version but it also lags out and crashes several times a day. I use jumble on desktop a good deal now, and sometimes nostur on mobile
I pretty much only use a phone, but luckily I havenโt really gotten any crashes for some reason. Just a bunch of stuff I canโt see ๐ฎโ๐จ

This is starting to sound like you guys have an abusive relationship with an app ๐ซ
It's simply the case that when it works, it's lightning fast, and I really value the thread/replies display. All other clients I try are laggy by comparison and take me out of the nostr "flow" somewhat. But, the downsides are getting too numerous to ignore, and I'm now using several clients regularly. I still can't break the addiction, especially for the morning back and forths.
Yeah I still need it. Plus, it would take me another 3 years to learn a new thing
