I have friends who showed interest in v4v music (as a band). They’re completely outside of this bitcoin/nostr world. I’d like to give them an introduction talk about v4v, @Fountain, etc., but I know for sure that I will lose them after the 3rd tech operation they wouldn’t understand, so I’m looking for a way to give it to them straight, so they can: - set up a profile for the band - upload music - set up a wallet - …link it all together and make it work without a headache So my question is - has anyone put together some kind of blog post/leaflet for bands to join v4v, with concrete steps to follow? Or if you’re an artist who has already done all that - would you consider sharing your roadmap (maybe as a long form article..)? I’m sure it would be appreciated with sats. @Let Em Riot @Alicia Stockman 🎤 @Ashna @Joe Martin @Jessie Lark @OpenMike #asknostr image

I've thought about doing it, but everything changes so fast it would probably be obsolete very quickly. I would start with downloading Primal, getting the self custody wallet with lightning address. Then logging into @Sunami with that nostr profile and publishing to RSS and nostr music from there, putting in that Primal lightning address for payments. That way might involve the least steps

RSS hosting on Sunami is currently free, but I imagine that will change at some point
Decentralized music OGs Able and The Wolf ( @Sir Spencer - Wolf of KC 🐺 and @Able Kirby ) have a #V4V writeup on their website that might resonate: To upload a self-hosted #v4vmusic feed with hand holding, there's @MSP 2.0 : But if they already have a website and like to DIY, there's an RSS feed with comments for musicians can copy and paste as a template:
